Blueberry Sauce

Ingredients1 small onion

2 tbsp butter

2 garlic cloves

1 cup blueberries

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup red wine

1/3 tsp rosemary

2 pinches tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp sugar

pinch of salt


InstructionsIn a medium size saucepan melt the butter

Add 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion and mashed garlic cloves and saute until tender

Add red wine and balsamic vinegar and bring to a low simmer

Add blueberries and cover. Simmer for about 5 minutes and blueberries should come apart

Add Sugar a little at a time and taste.

Add cinnamon and rosemary and taste

Add a pinhc of salt

If any blueberries are still chunky use a masher until sauce is mostly liquid (some lumps are good)
