Ingredients | 1 small onion |
2 tbsp butter |
2 garlic cloves |
1 cup blueberries |
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
1/4 cup red wine |
1/3 tsp rosemary |
2 pinches tsp cinnamon |
2 tbsp sugar |
pinch of salt |
Instructions | In a medium size saucepan melt the butter |
Add 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion and mashed garlic cloves and saute until tender |
Add red wine and balsamic vinegar and bring to a low simmer |
Add blueberries and cover. Simmer for about 5 minutes and blueberries should come apart |
Add Sugar a little at a time and taste. |
Add cinnamon and rosemary and taste |
Add a pinhc of salt |
If any blueberries are still chunky use a masher until sauce is mostly liquid (some lumps are good) |
